App: Jellybot Arrows, our arrow puzzle game. Android package: tech.jellybot.puzzles.arrows.

Audience: ages 13 and up. The app is not directed at children and is not part of the Google Play Families program.
Language of this page: English
1. The short version
- Your games, progress, coins, the pictures you make and your settings are stored on your device only. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and we run no servers that receive them.
- On first launch the app asks for your year of birth (not your full date of birth) and assumes the youngest age that year allows. The answer stays on your device.
- Under 13: the app shows only a "for ages 13 and up" screen. Nothing is collected and no ads are requested.
- Teens below their region's digital age of consent (for example 16 in much of the EU): no ads at all and no analytics.
- Teens at or above that age, below the adult age: ads are non-personalised, marked as under the age of consent and limited to general-audience (G) content. No analytics, no tracking and no rewarded-ad offers.
- Adults (18+): ads are non-personalised unless you turn personalised ads on. Usage analytics, crash reports and performance data are off until you turn "Usage analytics" on.
2. Information stored on your device only
| Data | Why | Sent to us or partners? |
|---|---|---|
| Year of birth, the age band worked out from it, device region (from your phone's settings, never your IP address) | Apply age and regional rules | No |
| Levels, scores, streaks, Season Gallery, arcade bests, duel history | Your progress | No |
| Pictures you create in the level builder | Play your own levels | No |
| Coins, boosters and other in-game items | In-game economy (no real-money purchases) | No |
| Settings (sound, arrow style, theme, notifications, reminders) and your consent choices | Remember your preferences | No |
Settings → Privacy & data → Delete all my data removes everything stored on the device, resets the analytics app-instance ID and clears your stored ad-consent choice, then restarts the app. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything stored on the device.
3. Third parties
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), for teens at or above the digital age of consent and for adults only. Banner ads appear on the play screen after the first few solved puzzles; adults may also choose to watch an optional rewarded video for an in-game bonus, which is never required to play. Ads are requested as non-personalised unless an adult turns on "Personalised ads"; players under 18 never get personalised ads. All requests are limited to G-rated content. AdMob may process the advertising ID and app set ID, the IP address (from which an approximate location can be estimated), device and app information and ad interactions to deliver, measure and protect ads. Google's information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) asks for advertising consent where Google requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) before any ad is requested. You can reopen it at any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Ad privacy options.
- Google Analytics for Firebase, adults only and only after you turn on "Usage analytics" (during setup or in Settings → Privacy & data). It counts in-game events (puzzle started or solved, hints, ads shown, errors as a short code) with a random app-instance ID, device model, OS version and app version; Google uses the IP address to estimate the country. Analytics data is not used for advertising.
- Firebase Crashlytics, on the same switch: when the app crashes or hits an error it sends the stack trace, the app's state at that moment as short codes (game mode, difficulty, a games-played range, whether ads may show), device model, OS version and a random Crashlytics installation ID.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring, on the same switch: app start time, puzzle load time and network timings of the app itself, with device model, OS version and the country derived from the IP address.
- We never send a name, email, account, advertising ID (to Firebase), precise location, the pictures you make or anything you type, and we set no user ID. Turning "Usage analytics" off or using Delete all my data turns all three Firebase services off at once. Google acts as our service provider for them: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
- Notifications: daily reminders are scheduled on your device, with no push server.
- Friend duels use a code you choose to send through your phone's share sheet. It goes only where you send it; we receive nothing.
- Google Play distributes the app and its updates under Google's own terms and privacy policy. Sign-in: none. Purchases: none with real money.
Data sent to Google is encrypted in transit.
4. Children and parents
Jellybot Arrows is for ages 13 and up and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13: a player whose year of birth shows they may be under 13 sees only the "for ages 13 and up" screen, and nothing is collected or sent. There is no chat and no public profile. We cannot remotely access data stored only on the device. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, email support@jellybot.tech. See also section 6 of the shared policy.
5. Your rights and retention
Deletion is built into the app (Settings → Privacy & data → Delete all my data). Personalised ads and usage analytics can be switched off there at any time. Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Google keeps ad data under its own policies (linked above). Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days, and Google Analytics keeps analytics data for at most 14 months. We hold no accounts or user IDs, so Delete all my data is the way to remove the data on your device and reset the analytics ID. To make a request, including a deletion request, see Your rights in the shared policy or email support@jellybot.tech. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
